If you have not found your soul mate and are still single, you probably know what loneliness can do to a person. I think we all feel the same whenever we are confined in a small space with only our partner to make sure we stay together. Suffocating feelings cause one to never find the happiness and fulfillment that only a couple of people can provide.
I have been in a relationship for more than two years and I still feel the sparks of love from those days. However, the relationship has gone through many different phases and I cannot begin to figure out how I found the woman I have been sharing my life with. She was not the one. I was in a relationship for so long because I had no clue what I want out of it.
I want to share what I went through and hopefully other people will get something out of it as well. It took me a while, but I finally opened my eyes and saw something was wrong. During that time I also made so many friends who have some wonderful relationships and it is from their experiences that I learned what I did not want in my own life. Many people would have you believe that it is about finding the right girl or guy and finding that “perfect person” for you. This is what I believed then, but as years passed, I realized that the search was not even worth the waste of time. After I ignored and minimize the mistakes I was making, I was able to admit that I needed to grow and learn. The road to true happiness and fulfillment was only just beginning.
There are so many road blocks as well that keep us from getting what we want out of life. Small mistakes lead to big consequences but the only thing that reacts to these small mistakes is our own attitude. If you want to make a change, the first thing you have to do is admit that you have a problem. Admit that you are lonely. Maybe for the majority of single people, finding a soul mate seems like an impossible task. You may have concerns about how people see you or judgments from friends and family.
It is important that you learn to trust yourself so that you are not afraid or lonely. Without the fear of being alone, you will be able to fully experience your life. Later in this article, I will share with you practical ways you can implement to help you become more confident.

Communication (or lack thereof) is then forced upon the other person. Again, this is why communication is key.

The kindest behaviour is also the rudest. It can only help improve the quality of your social life (number of friends, how much they like you, etc.)
Make it sparkle!Catch the sparkle! Here is what I said about cat’s eyes. Women yearn for those sparkles. (I said yearn, not crave..they reel!) When you are in a conversation, make sure you are well-informed about the things that are happening in the world. (i.e. Africa, football, economic crisis.. whatever). This way, you will learn about the world around you and your interesting comments will be sparkly and out of the ordinary. This is also a great conversation starter, but be very vigilant you don’t overdo it. Ignite the sparkle. This will make her more attracted to you because you have become figured out exactly what she is interested in.
